I wonder if they will offer a power steering add on kit.

Its crazy to think Yamaha cant make the Viper run quality better.. I understand the thinking that some don't need or want a turbo. But its just a no brainer to me.. Not sure why anyone would buy a Viper unless its strictly money as the price difference is a deal breaker..
It costs more to insure a 1049 cc Vector or Viper. Than a 998 cc Turbo Sidewinder. Might be the deal breaker for some. P. S. The Lynx 850 video’s were impressive. Life goes on. So I guess the Venture TF is gone? Only care because at least the front half of the sled was same as my Vectors. You know parts availability!

Thanks for your reply! I went with a Foremost agent from Michigan recommended on here. Last year and saved $1oo over Foremost through my local Farmers Agent. But this year when renewed was same price. I asked him while renewing. Why do the Powersports Insurance companies go by cc’s. Instead of Horsepower. He agreed and said he had no answer. I pointed out to him that it was cheaper to insure a Sidwinder than my Vectors. So Who do you use? P.S. my independent insurance agent. Who’s Husband used to be a sponsored Arctic Cat dealers son and racer. Had no better answer or terms.

Just want to know what happened to the programmable throttle? YCCT. That is what Besides EPS got me to convince my Wife to ride. Again. Best feature they came out with for the less experienced riders. Who wanted 4 Strokes. And could not stand. The smell of 2 Strokes. She loved the EPS on the 2012 Apex XTX she test drove. But did not like the handle bar pull. You know the thing Torque. She felt it was going to pull her off the sled.

Winder riders don't want our rates going up.
If you want the lower rates buy a 998.

I'll take a swag at this. They go by cc's because OEM's don't publish official HP numbers. That and they don't care enough about sleds to figure it out on their own. If they did try to rate sleds for power it would be endlessly contested as well. What we have here is an industry where you can claim any HP you want (unofficially of course).
