Since you are changing the bearing, now is a good time to add The Greaser to your sled. ;)! Makes it super easy to grease the speedo bearing & greatly reduces the risk of failure. Have them in stock & available for the Apex/Nytro/Phazer & most any Japan made sled. Can get on my site...

Agree with not wanting to overlap with other major shows/events. The hardest part is getting a good spacing between shows. Less than a week isn't generally enough to recover from the last major one. That & I suspect putting this one too close in time to Milwaukee would be a bad idea for both shows.

Thanks for the heads up Steve! Yes, the Groomer emits the beacon. IF the groomer has the transmitter installed, it can be detected. Last I knew Alger County did NOT have them installed. One of the groomers had obtained the transmitters, however the prior groomer operators saw no need for them...
