Not sure if revised heaters or not, I know people have reached out to Rockmeister @ RoczToyz.com (TY member and site sponsor) for his hot hands kit, and other cool goodies, I have his HIDs on my sleds.Looks like I need number 2 and number 5 in this picture. I remember reading that they had updated the warmers. Will this get me the updated ones?? I would imagine it would.
*** Also do not forget the grip adhesive!

Save your money for grip adhesive and simply purchase a can of hair spray. Spray the inside of the grip with hair spray. It will aid in sliding the new grip on and when the hair spray dries, it will serve as your adhesive.

Kevin wasn't available when I called but the gentleman who I spoke with got me hooked up. I have new hand warmers and grips on the way. Anyone who has changed them before and has any advice I'm all ears.

It's stupid easy. Trace the wire back and reroute the new ones the same way. Be sure you have your left and right straight, as they are not the same.
Be sure to have a pop rivet tool, and hair spray as recommended. Good luck!

I did left one on my 09, used a razor knife and cut old grip off, drilled out rivet, peel off element.Kevin wasn't available when I called but the gentleman who I spoke with got me hooked up. Install element, add adhesive, push on the grip, add pop rivet. Allow to dry.
FYI, since you have an 06 has the handle bars been upgraded to 07 bars like was suggested earlier?

The "1" on your meter was probably actually "1__"
A "1" and a few spaces then possibly a "'." such as "1__."
On some meters "1__" or "1__." is the same as OL, and NOT the same as "1." or "1.0" (< these would be One)
OL or "1__" or "1__." Is large, Overload or Infinity basically. (An OPEN circuit/Bad grip)
A "1.0" is ONE as in 1 ohm or 1 volt.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Rock, Thats exactly what I was seeing. Love your products!!! Just installed my starter saver and digging out my old trail jamz system to see if I can revive it. I got out of riding for about 5 years and I'm just getting back into it.

You are welcome, is good info for all.
Thank you, we work hard to take great care of everyone!
(lol, Liked the: "Yeah, What he said" aka 03 RX1 )
Shouldn't be much to reviving your Trail Jamz other than fully charging your player overnight.
Let me know if I can help!

I finished installing the new handwarmers yesterday. I fired the sled up and put them on high and within 5 minutes they started to get warm. I’m excited to see if they outperform the originals. My sled is a 2010 so it was supposed to have better handwarmers from the factory but they’ve sucked from new. Unfortunately I’m currently nursing a knee injury so I don’t know when I will be able to actually ride the sled to see how they perform.
Any chance you know the part number for that harness? I went to my dealer yesterday and the parts guy couldn't find it.Yamaha has a kit that changes the 2006 heater form series to parallel
