Always working on something to make these Yamahas better, thanks Rock.

Is the knob removable when you have the light set where you want it?
If you don’t like the aesthetics I will bet after one night of riding with it you will love that knob sticking out! Can’t adjust on fly with knob in your bag or pocket. I adjust for twisters when I am forward on sled and when on grades when I am on back of seat. Sometimes 20 or more times a night!

Oh don’t do that! You will love being able to fine tune the aim every ride.

The inherent danger of having a metal rod pointed at you or me (& sensitive areas!) while riding terrifies me!
Definitely do NOT suggest running without the Knob !!!
(Now I have to add that to the directions, lol)

As Cannondale mentioned, You will find it is MUCH more usable & handy than you ever thought upfront.
Last night we were riding & it was snowing hard, adjusted them down just a bit & it made all the difference in the world for sight distance.
It quit snowing & tweaked light right back up again, was GREAT!
