I would guess #34 is shot and needs to be replaced. Instead of looking for a direct replacement, contact Travis at barnofparts.com and ask him if he has a Nytro gas shock in stock for your sled.
BUT......before you put it in, unless you ride HARD..have the shock revalved about 50% softer...
I installed 3 ea., 2" soffit vents in the top clutch guard to help get cool air into the area.

Sir, having dealt with the track howl since 2005 and listening to others complain about it the best option honestly is if you don't like it, get rid of the sled. I myself have tried numerous things to reduce the howl to no avail. I have tried different tracks and different rear suspensions but...

This is another first time situation that I've read about on this board. Usually it's hard to get it into reverse which calls for a slight loosening of the chain tension. I wonder if you need to TIGHTEN the chain tension a bit? There are two little springs that push the gear away to get to...
FWIW - I've felt for a long time that the Vector chassis needs slightly heavier front shock springs. If memory serves, somebody told me to try Apex front springs because they are heavier. Never tried them...too many other things to deal with. Might have been Travis at Barn of Parts.

We've lived up here 7 years and I've only had two years that I've had good snow. Last year the trails were open less than 30 days and the year before that the trails weren't open at all. When there is good snow the riding is great.
