The spray weld is done as part of the shaft reconditioning,then machined and pinned.within .0005” tolerance of the bearing ID of 1.772”

This repair will get me a couple more seasons and will be a down payment on a sled with better build quality

1700 miles since oil tank gasket installation,dry as a bone.Like previously stated,use only HALF the factory torque,with loctite.

the bearing is already pressed in to the brake housing and the pin in shaft was placed at 90 degrees (as viewed from caliper housing clock wise) we indexed the slotted inner race to 90 degrees and slowly drew this together with the 3 bolts,checking alignment with a inspection mirror.
