    Shock Upgrade

You can put QS3s on the front and center skid shock but not the rear, at least not one from a Sidewinder LE or Zr9000 LE. You can get a QS3 from a newer high country that is coil over. This will be better than your Floats. But keep in mind The 141 is an-coupled skid and will never handle as well...

    Latest front end

I spent a lot of $$$ and time converting my 2019 over to the 2020 front end. I took it one step further and put the wider front end from an RXC sled, swapped rails too: -Upper and lower A arms -Spindles -Longer tie rods for wide front end -New rails -limiter straps It's just too high, COG is...

Ripsaw II 1.5 with run quiet bumps?

I trail ride. High speed trails in Northern Quebec and am not studded. The Ripsaw2 1.5 inch NO studs hooks way better than a 1.25 with 192 studs (my buddy has a Tcat with this setup). I wish I had of tried this track a while ago. It really is that good! I cruise at 100mph a lot of the time, and...

Ripsaw II 1.5 with run quiet bumps?

Don't think it can be had with quiet bumps, its still really quiet. You wont regret the purchase! Hooks 100 times better than the rip2 1.25 and corners just as well. Didn't scrub top speed either.

    High mileage thread

I now have 15,000kms on my 2019 Cross Crountry 9000. Tuned since 3000kms with MAXSpool16. Three top gear changes (I change preventatively every 4000-5000kms), BOP Driveshaft saver since 1400kms with no spinning on shaft. New chain, gears, new track, all new bearings everywhere at 1000okms (all...

    Thinking of a track upgrade

I just went through all of this on mine. I had 1.75 Backcountry stock on my Cross Country 9000. It was a great track for 11000kms but started showing its age. Hooked like crazy, still cornered well and was very durable. Problem is Camso doesn't sell this track on its own. The aftermarket Back...

    2022 Mach Z

Honestly, these 900ts have nothing on a 998 sidewinder. I doubt the extra 30hp will make much of a difference, but hopefully the throttle cable to ITC makes it feel better. I tried two models, a stock 2020 and a tuned 205HP 2020, both X package sleds. Throttle was so jerky and almost unridable...

DIY 4 wheel kit for 2019 and newer = $20!!

If you have a 2019 and newer, you can easily add a 4th wheel for around $20. I found this out from scrolling microfiche for 2020 and newer Arctic RXC race sleds. You need 3 parts -wheel mount 4604-380 $3 -spacer 4604-349 $ 3 -4th wheel 4604-423 $20 Basically you are changing out that larger...

    Heavier Torsion Springs

I got springs from a Crosstouring 9000 (the 146 long track with extral fuel tank in rear). Made a world of difference one of the best mods i have done! I now have my adjusters on softest setting. I am 180lbs Its great when carrying luggage and fuel or even 2 up. I think these are heavier than...

    Yam vs Team clutches

I have 10500kms on my 2019 Arctic Cat Cross Country. Tuned to 260hp and never blown a belt, clutches look like new no cracks. I changed the belt at 5000kms just because. Still looked fine. I had friends with winders that knew a lot about yammy clutches but still blew belts every 1000kms. I...

    Another victim of Cat Quality!

I guess I am one of the 90% with good luck on BOP wedge. Have 6000kms on wedge and no wear on shaft, looked like new! I installed at 4500kms (10500kms total on sled) and inspected shaft then, no wear, only faint signs of bearing starting to spin. I also tap the wedge in so its flush with end of...

    2017 SW LTX-LE upgrade

I am in similar debate. Have done a ton of maintenance to mine and its been great for 11000kms. But no warranty left and its a 2019. The cost, after trade in, would be $7100 all inc in canadian funds for a 2021 Tcat. I could keep all my mods. I never know when is the key time to trade, IE...

    Turbo shaft play

How do you know when a turbo is going bad? Any symptoms? Is there supposed to be any sideplay in shaft? A buddy of mine has a 2019 with 5000kms. He brought it in for some other warranty work and they said his turbo was gone! Had excessive play in shaft. Got me worried about my 2019 with 11000 kms.

2020 front end Don't for get to add....

What year is your sled that you put this on? So you already had a bracket in that place and is the new one that much stronger looking?

    Oil leak - not tank!

No oil there, ever. Its definitely bottom back, near that sensor or back of clutch

    Oil leak - not tank!

Yes I was looing at that too, oil pressure sending unit. So it would be the unit itself that is faulty? Or seal behind it? Its definitely right around there that i see a lot of oil!

    Oil leak - not tank!

Anybody ever have an oil leak on clutch side? Trying to figure out where its coming from, only does it under high rpm (higher pressure). I let it run at idle and see nothing! Oil all underneath motor and back. Checked oil plug and filter they are tight. I see two sensors to the left of oil...

    new drive shaft axle?

It put it on at 4300kms and there was evidence it had just started to spin but no wear. torqued to 30ft/lbs

    new drive shaft axle?

I had the BOP wedge for 5000kms and pulled it out to see ZERO wear on my driveshaft. This worked for me! Bearing was still good too. Now have 11,000kms on machine and driveshaft still looks great!

    Cain’s Quest 2020

It would be on my bucket list to do this but requires a ton of money and planning. Literally $50k a person so unless you're a millionaire you probably need some sponsors. Its 3000kms and NO gas stations, so you have to plan ahead and get all your gas shipped to different locations....
