Like it a lot!. The first time i looked at a 03 rx-1 this is where i wanted
to mount it... But i intended to use a aerocharger... too bad they are
gone :( The only problem i see with that new installation is oil drainage
from the turbine bearing side. Turbo co. usualy advise to mount them...
No problems with reverse EXEPT i once put it into reverse and went
a little :drink: too heavy on throttle and has soon as serious boost
kicked in (i was turning very slightly) i went to the ground with the
sled on me :( VERY EMBARASSING
I posted last year on this, " carrillo rods really needed?" and nobody
said that they had a stock yam. rods failure... hummmmmm.
I think they would break on a high rpm ported motor from exessive
tension.
HI GUY'S! . Did a search to find Carrillo rod # (the new one) for a
rx-1... I have the "old" #CHRYR1000 but they recently changed it and
they can't tell me their new number!? :drink:
Thanks !!!!!. ;)!
If you want a reliable and lightweight aftercooler, you should go with
the powderlites one. it is a simple ,straight thru unit and performs ... ;)!
What i dislike about the bender one is core area...I dont have it's airflow
specs but,it "looks" less efficient?... I is a straight thru...
