19. Read Corky Bell"s book "Maximum Boost" if you want to educate yourself in regards to turbo systems. It is considered the "bible" when it comes to turbocharging.

20 - Not all turbos are created equally.

21 - MCX rear turbo spool up time (lag) is as good or better than many front mounts. LaLaLa

22 - Its better to have a great running smaller turbo than one that is too big.

23 - Nitrous and more cooling will raise the efficiency of your boost.

24 - get ready to hear a lot of "Holy Shi*s" when someone sees your RXTurbo go for the first time.

25 - be careful who you let ride it.
 
Nothing on my rear mount MC exhaust has cracked, not even my flexpipes, although I am going to change the flex pipes this fall just to be on the safe side. I think what Jason was trying to convey is that due to the more severe heat cycling that turbo exhausts endure, they will all potentially fail. Hows that sound?
 
Yes that's correct. A Turbo header Endures a lot more heat then a Normally aspirated, NOS, or Super charged header will. The turbo blocks the exhaust from exiting and it creates a huge amount of heat.

When I had my Turbo installed my Header would actually glow red. Because of this increased heat with the constant heat cycles you have turbo heads are prone to cracking.

Yup Hammer that looks about right...........never come off the mountain at night. You will freak out. I know one guy who elected to tow when saw the cherry bomb for the first time.
I also found jetting is very sensitive to keep the turbo and header from glowing. Feeding it fuel brought down the glow.
If anyone says there header does not fatigue......I call BS. They just haven't run it long enough.

Hammer, that pic reminds me of a car I used to have in Germany. Long late night full throttle runs at 260+ on the Autobahn would create similar scenes! Pretty cool to stop the car and look underneath and see that. Ah, I miss the Cold War!! Check six, Tiger, Tiger!! Air Force forever
