i would say this is a heat treat problem to hard and they are brittle to soft and they bend but time will tell.could be a material problem also sometimes the new and better isn' t so, what i do know is this will be costly for all involved, wish the best to all.

replaceing my crank position sensor , when i pulled cover off thought i heard something fall but don't see anything. only thing i can see that maybe missing would their be something on the end of the starter gear that keeps it centered in cover? thanks for reply's.
