On the picture of the Foot well is there 2 mounting points for the rear Suspension on the front bolt?

All Vipers are like that too.. this is so they can use the same chassis for other skid lengths and suspension styles.

My only concern now is the drive belt not sure if it's model specific and looks to be $200 instead of the $60 I'm used too. Hope for the best.

Question for you guys on the Viper/Sidewinder footwells:
I stopped in at one of my dealers today and was sitting on a '16 LTX LE. It felt like the footwell was a bit too shallow - I couldn't get my toes as far in as I'd like. When you're riding the sleds fairly aggressively on the trails, do you feel that your feet are 'locked in'? I jumped on an Apex to compare, and it felt better for me; only about 1" difference between the two, but noticeable.
Not a huge deal I guess - BRP makes a nice foot stirrup that we use on the Snow-x sleds that I could easily adapt to this chassis. Just wondering what the feedback is from guys with some time in the saddle?

I use to lock in my feet until I almost broke my leg when my foot was stuck.. I keep my toe back a bit for easy out, it really dont bother me.

Yeah, it's probably more a matter of just not feeling quite liked what I'm used to. IF I pull the trigger on one for next year, I'll get some miles logged and then decide if this is an issue. Easy fix if I don't like.
I believe when riding aggressively and sitting I usually have one foot further forward than other depending on turn. My feet are small so never locked in. When standing I am all over the boards. I agree 1-2in forward would be huge. Looks like the new bodywork may accomplish at least some of that. Is some guys modifying the foot wells to get about a inch forward from stock. May be done already on the Sidewinder. Not alot of talk about body position yet. Kind of a personal preference thing also. Going to have to pretend ride one at the shows!Question for you guys on the Viper/Sidewinder footwells:

Is the ROV on all the models? I would assume so.Here is a picture of the roll over valve system that allows the sled to be on its hood without puking oil.

Yes,it looks like all the BS problems we had with the procross cat turbos were addressed and more,if you ever had to remove side panels and hood to get to air box on a cat turbo, you would understand lol not preety. And all the hupla about this new viper and all they talk about is the rear LED taillight, why not hype up the head light that is a first LED,and I sure hope on the ltx le I can get a real windshield that I can fit mirrors on,or at least put on handle bar mounted mirrors like I have on my ape xtx.Was able to get all touchy feely last night at show in hamburg n.y. very impressed seemed to be much more yamaha quality easy and open layout when panels are off, everything out and easy to access .seems they have addressed all my gripes with the viper, roller clutch is simple and stout and can even change plugs without tearing half of sled apart. Best part is you don't have to have your knees against the panels when rideing i hated that on viper

So it looks like the SE fronts are exact same as my X DOO shock fronts(Rebound only)
What im wondering is what is in the rears on the cheaper SE sleds? Obviously the LE has the best top of line shocks, but does anyone think the SE would be decent out back? It seems the SE fronts might be darn good as any FOX coilover is gonna be nice IMO.

This has and is a big question for myself.. The backs have HPG shocks. I was told they are a knock off of a fox shock. NOT the HPG that was on ski doo or yamaha in past.. At least that is what i have learned so far...So it looks like the SE fronts are exact same as my X DOO shock fronts(Rebound only)

I had to have the black and orange which only comes in the SE package.. I do not ride super aggressive - so I figure I run the stock set up(rear shocks) on the SE and if it blows I upgrade after the first year..Not to worried about the front shocks on the SE.. 13300 is what I was quoted. Thats a great price on this sled IMO.. Alot of BANG for your buck (4 stroke turbo)
