yes... my 07 apex had the same battery for 7yrs and was on a tender every minute is was in off season.I changed it for peace of mind also....sure it would have went longer.
Good advice posted above.... Regular fuel that has ethanol is not bad if used up frequently and not let sit over the summer untreated. I use pure gas ( we call it rec fuel here) in all my small power equipment too but 5 gallons last me a long time to use. Its pricey to use on a larger volume...
If you change fluid... My 07 apex had the bleed port on the original rear crossover tube, It is a great way to bleed out air upon refilling as well as draining the old fluid. The best way to refill is to drain at what ever point you choose but upon refill jack the front of the sled up about 18"...
My take... If your on a groomed trail all the time 1-1/4" studed seems fine to me, now what track?? The ripsaw is a great track (had one on my apex with 15,000miles) If you get into longer lugs and still want to stud the studs are going to get long and you could have clearance issues. Just a...

Well .. now after hearing all the hell ya went through getting your clutch off (glad ya got it though) maybe like I mentioned early on in the post about putting just a ULTRA light film of anti seize barely detectable to the eye and NOT some half tube that flings all over that causes your clutch...
Ya.... I never bought my m-10 for the "launch" I read a lot about the characteristics of the m-10/ m20 before buying and it was about the ride not the weight transfer. Hum?
I have one on my 07 and LOVE it... I Know its a big dollar item but I think of all the time and money spent on the stock pro-active (07 rtx) skid and I could have been half way home on buying the M skid! Take your time on install and follow directions on tuning and you will be happy. It was the...
To each his own...works for me. Never would give info to anyone if it wasn't proven and helpful especially for the reason of topic. So keep struggling with how to get clutches off ….. I really like the "tap " in with a hammer method.
Again... ULTRA LIGHT FILM... 40 yrs of experience here. Been doing this since the 70's with clutches not ONE issue. Can you elaborate on what will happen if used?
