Will there be any clearance issues with a 1.5 track with studs? This is what I want to do this summer even before I threw a stud through the rear exchanger
I put it on this year no leaks and I’m using the stock rov. 1500 miles on it so far. But to be fair I had 5800 miles on the stock oil tank gasket with no leaks. This year in Quebec it was so cold my oil pushed out between my oil filter gasket on 2 mornings.
Jack up the free not till the skis are off the ground and loosen the spring retainers on the front shocks till the barely holt the spring in place and give them 2 full turns, that should drop the front end, I would do this first. 2” of preload is crazy. I have a 17 ltx le and I think the front...
That’s what I was thinking. I gave it some gas to keep it running while cold and think the oil was too thick and pushed out the gasket, then when warmed up it sealed back up. Hopefully it holds up.
-31f in Valdor this morning. Sled started hard. I let it warm up in trailer. When I backed it out there was a puddle of oil under the center of sled. Don’t think it’s leaking now. It’s not the oil tank gasket!!!any thoughts or has anyone had this happen?
I just put in the BDX driveshaft. Only one ride 170 miles, no problems. Bearing fits tight and I still used the BOP wedge cause I already bought it in preparation of OEM driveshaft. I bought the steel one from hurricane because I heard someone broke the aluminum one
I did take mine off and pressed on the new one. My press wasn’t wide enough for the drivers to fit through so I cut my old shaft in half, pressed off the drivers then pressed on new shaft. If you didn’t want to cut the old shaft you would have to cut a piece of pipe length wise and hose clamp it...
I just put in the black diamond steel shaft and new SKF bearing, it’s a tight fit, had to hit it on half way. I also bought a BOP wedge when I thought I was getting the stock shaft but everywhere was on back order. The BOP wedge does fit the black diamond driveshaft, so I put that in too...
My top gear is wore out, 5500 miles and never had a problem but I need a new one now. Does anyone know where I could go pick one up from Syracuse NY, within an hour drive time? Thanks.
