I sold the sled, it was fun... but a dead end at this point. I'm fairly well convinced the front end was based on Ski Doo architecture.

It may be easier to just swap in a larger MZ Series engine. My bet is that it has a 6 - 7 hp MZ 200.... they make several variants that are larger.... we can go right for the MZ 360, double the power. LOL!

Nice videos. Try some mountain skis to help float that front end.

Standard or Ohlins?

Yamaha sells two versions... the base model, old RX/RS body style, w/ 973cc carbureted engine, and the newer Apex body style with the 1049 efi w/ power steering.

This project never continued past the rough idea stage, and my last Nytro was sold several years back. The ATV parts are fairly abundant these days, so with a little fabrication, the Nytro could gain some serious handling benefits.

There rear are also oem Ohlins, but not TTX models, sorry I was not clear on that.

Only the front shocks were TTX on those models, the rear units were regular monotube 46mm units. Could you supply the part numbers from the dampers?

It actually reverts to roughly 50%. The damping chart from Ohlins shows various force in m/s and 0 volatage is significantly firmer in almost every range over the lowest setting.

That's a good point... It turned out to be BS deal anyway. It likely has 37 miles, but it had been stored outside... The too good to be true story fell to pieces quickly.
