I got the Arctic cat/Yamaha tether for Christmas. My question is how in the crap do you get the little pin out of the factory harness? I tried pushing on it and nothing. The instructions are very vague on how to do it so I'm hoping one of you guys knows how. All I can think of is to cut the wire...

I emailed them a wile back and it took a week for them to get back to me and they can ship to the us and i think they were like $250 ish US

Well dealer got it all apart and it took out the starter, starter teeth, starter gear, flywheel and stator... About 1500 for a warranty claim. The mechanic tried to call Yamaha to see if there would be a fix for the issue because he though it was ridiculous and they told him only maybe 4 or 5...

i do not know what line is the return line but these are the two spots the hurricane kit uses for oil.

This years turbo has a quiet exhaust for hurricane.. No more hindle exhaust for hurricane(you can still opt for it tho). I've compared myn to my dads mpi and the hurricane is the same sound level just deeper sounding I kinda like it better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here's my setup very easy to do just take the bracket flip it around and I bolted it to the open hole in the frame. The zip ties are there because the bracket can't clip in when backwards so the zip ties just keep it from coming out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tried jumping it still nothing... called dealer its funny he said he had never herd of any starters breaking... dropped it off and he said he had to go look online and look for what i was talking about and he said man he has never seen so many starters go bad for Yamaha... he said hes calling...

No I didn't but I did try a battery tester to see if if it was but it was fine a little low but fine. So just to try I put our charger on it for a hour and then tried again with same result.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ya that would have sucked... It's funny I remembered that and went and watched it right after it happened haha. But myn sounds nothing like that. Just the solenoid clicks and nothing.. But it was a horrible sound I never want to here again... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
