WARN has a great winch that you power with a cordless drill. A bit expensive but can be used for years and years to come.

I'm thinking next year for the flatlander 2s turbo from Polaris. The mountain sled makes 10% more horsepower than NA at sea level so 180-185. They mentioned the Patriot was built with boost in mind so the internals should be tough enough. If it survives in the mountains this year it should...
I second the FXR Recon's. Bought a pair last year. They are really good performing gloves on their own. 90% of the time I don't even turn them on. If I need I run them for a bit until warm again then either off or on low. I got a slightly larger set of bats this year off Amazon (4200mah)...
Two thumbs up for me on the Mission.
I thought I'd give a little more detailed review:
PROS
- Very comfortable and quiet. It really showed me just how drafty and loud my Titan was.
- Very stable at speed. My Titan used to pull my head back because of the peak. The Mission allows much...
Sorry to hear
Very rare for NA 1049 to break a rod. The change in 2016 seems to have resulted though in rods that are JUST able to hold together. Obviously out of warranty so I'd look for a used complete engine at this point. 2014 and up.
Great write-ups VX1R AND rbell. Got the mid season itch and just ordered a matte black Mission non-electric. Thought about the Oxy but I'm coming from a Titan so I really enjoy and have gotten used to no cord and just love the look of the Mission.
Can't wait to try it out.
Note to Canadian...
Understand Yamaha is supposed to review that but I would think you'd have a much better chance (admittedly slim) if you happen to have a "friendly" dealer if it came in stock. It somehow worked for me. Covid delays/backlogs helped as well.
Don't have a Winder so not sure how hard this is to do with tunes but why don't people return sled to stock before taking in for engine issues like this. Better chance of warranty repair approval no?
At 2400 miles you are broken in. Everyone is going to have differing options when it comes to lubricants. Some are using Yamalube/snowmobile oil, some using automotive oil, some semi and some full. Personally I run full syn in everything. Toping up you'll be fine with either.
Oil likely burped up into airbox through breather hose and dripped out. Happens often when slightly overfilled and hitting jumps, rollers. Just check oil level to make sure all good there.
I am assuming you are refering to the oil breather. I would imagine that any oil resistant flexible hose would work if it fits in snugly. Even if not oil resistant it should be fine. just inspect every year.
When I put a turbo kit on the machine with the corresponding intake the...
