Lay a paper towel over sticky lens area. Pour WD-40 or my preferred, Goo Gone, on the paper towel to saturation and let it sit for awhile to soak in. Then it should come off with thumb and soft cloth.
I hate to do it because I was a strong supporter of iGrips however I have to share my experience...I put mine on last year (Ripsaw II 1.25") and took my time and did it properly by predrilling, sunk them to the correct depth in the lug, made sure they went in straight. I put on about 2500km...
If you have the sled already and are looking for an economical way to get the thrill of a stock Sidewinder then picking up a used kit is a great way to go. I installed one on an '18 last year. It was finicky for me in the beginning because I had to troubleshoot a few things that came with...
I'm going to try ski mounted scratchers this year on my Viper. I have a pair in the garage to install. I think it'll create more activity near the front of the tunnel.
Damn. I know I'm stating the obvious but isn't that supposed to be what the dealer charges for when they prep new sleds? Would make me concerned about what else might not be in spec. Belt is a real obvious one.
Just a funny little anecdote. I was at Royal picking up a new set of pants when I started talking to a FXR rep about sleds and Covid and business. At one point he mentioned that the '21 Skidoo's are being shipped out to dealers without batteries because of Covid related shortages. Anyone...

My garage is drywalled as well. I attached a D-ring to one of the celing joists then in the winter or prep for winter months I attach a chain hoist. That way I can lift the front/back anytime to pull the skid, change sliders, add studs etc. In the off season I just unhook it and put it away.
Anyone else think its weird how the did the Thundercat messaging on the side? The right side is THUNDE on the top line and DERCAT on the bottom. I guess it wraps around to the other side but looks weird because its only possible to see one side at a time. I don't often like many cat...
Love my Klim's. If you see a good price on non-BOA think about it. That's what I did. BOA gimmick is cool but how hard is it to lace boots? Once I have them on and ride for the day I only touch the laces again to take them off. Night and day versus my massive Baffins.
Bought these a month ago and haven't had a chance to use them yet but they get very good reviews and I know a member or two use them. They are reasonable in price at $200 CDN for a pair. Up to 4 users, bluetooth, music, etc..

Buddy bought a new 2016 STX DX last year. His is a 137. No extra tank but built in bags, taller windshield, mirrors, etc.. Maybe extra tank on 146 only?
Lol. Funny had this conversation with a neighbour over a few "pops" just a few weeks ago. When we were kids in Ontario we used to say let's go Skidooing. Now its Sledding.
Ok PCV PTI has no connections related to O2 sensor. It plugs into main harness and has a map sensor that connects to a vacuum port to check intake pressure. I would think you should still be able to run fuel adjustments based on RPM and throttle position. Just leave O2 sensor plugged in. To...
Spoke to dealer here in Canada this week and he said everyone in Japan still working from home and plants are closed. They are running out of inventory and parts.
