What's the best way to remove a sticker from the headlight lens? I used a heat gun to get the bulk of the sticker off, but of course there is still residue. Anyone have any tips for cleaning the residue off without scratching or dulling the headlight lens? I have no idea why dealers put inventory stickers on sled headlights.

Lay a paper towel over sticky lens area. Pour WD-40 or my preferred, Goo Gone, on the paper towel to saturation and let it sit for awhile to soak in. Then it should come off with thumb and soft cloth.

I would not use Goo Gone on plastic, I tried it on a windshield once and it ended up deteriorating it.

Make the dealer do it.
But yeah WD is what I've always used to get the stupid warning stickers off my Yamaha bikes.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. My first instinct was Goo Gone but I read that it could dull and degrade the plastic. Will try the 3M Adhesive Remover. Thanks for the link Turboflash.

No problem. Should work. I haven't seen an adhesive that it didn't take off. And, I have not seen any substrate damage from it either.

Yes. DO NOT USE GOO GONE.
I made that mistake once getting race numbers off a bikes shield. Ruined it.
