I have a friend that had 5000kms on a stock belt and he dont drive easy. I currently have 2000kms on my stock belt and its been abused. Ice raced and everything.
Just to let you all know. The leak got worse as the trip went on. But wasn't that bad when the sled was up to running temperature. But really bad when cold. Returned home last night this morning removed filter. There was a big bubble in the o-ring.
I was racing on the lake the other day...sled would pull 8800-9000 rpms but once maxed out on speed and the sled stops pulling rmps would go back to 8300-8600

I understand it's common sense. I just don't see what it's going to hurt....yah its going to mess up that protector. But who cares i'd rather it hit the protector then the exchanger?
So a lot of you are saying. Whats the big deal? isn't it better then hitting the cooler? ...It has made 1 hole in it so far in 600 miles but i think the track was loose.
So i got 600 miles on my new winder....Today while working on it noticed the dealer put studs in the middle of my track in line with the middle protector they installed. For the most part the center protector looks fine but does have one good hole in it. What should i do? I'm sure the dealer...
