I think the idea is to just leave it in there long enough to clean out all the carbon gunk (ie a tank of gas max) and then change your oil and filter. My oil was really dirty after! If you do a serach of the forums you'll find a couple good threads on rec'd treatments and the way other guys...

I finally got my hands on some from Carquest in North Bay and my experience was pretty much the same as Snomad's. Still a little early to say about the oil consumption (it was late in the season) but it sure cleaned it up.

I don't knowthe difference Cvenne, but for instructions on using the Seafoam you might want to do a little reading first. Definatly NOT a whole bottle to just one tank of gas. Its been discussed a lot on here and you will find some good threads by doing a search for sea foam. Here's a couple...

Cvenne, maybe you should give Seafoam a try? There are several guys on here who've been able to get their hands on it in Canada (from Carquest) and supposedly its almost as good or as good as ringfree. I haven't tried it yet myself but am hoping to shortly as soon as I get my hands on some.....

You were right Rex. My dealer fell through on the ring free. Supposedly he thought it was on Monday's shipment 'for sure'..... I didn't stick around long enough to hear the story about how its not available in Canada...... How about you other Canadian RX1 guys? Where are you all getting...

Still waiting on the ring free up here Rex. (supposedly Monday is the day). Hopefully the combustion cleaner produces good results in Gaspe!

I'm also on the look out for a nice water temp gauge thats available up here JD. I'll let you know if I find anything. So far only a quick check of the Royal catalog but no luck so far.
