Put in a non electric shock 121" Monoshock from any 121 Apex or 06-newer Vector. 08 or newer would be better as the W arm/front arm is stronger.

Totally different rear suspension. The Venture uses a version of the CK skid. Front arm coilover, rear arm torsion springs and gas shock.

I'd put a Benjamin on it that it's a bad ground block(s) on the frame rail.

If it on the left side under handlebar, it's factory. The fuse labeled S/H is the "shield heated" fuse. 3A. Your cord could be bad, or shield itself died??

It is maxxing out. When you press up again after it's maxed out, it will drop a bar, but fill back in letting you know it's on full blast.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm realizing I should get into a more comfortable seating position sled (currently Apex's and Vectors) but it's irritating to know that for $15k+++ there are issues that have never been addressed from the factory. Why spend that kinda money only to spend even more...

Thinking about possibly getting a new Viper (2023) A few questions. What are, if any, major improvements made on them? Such as, has the chaincase/upper gear issues been resolved? Lower driveshaft bearing that slips, anything new there?? Anything else?

Start soaking the bolts in PB Blaster or Deep Creep right now. Spray them often, and give it 2-3 hours and try loosening them. Heat them too if needed. Also sneak a punch in there and give them a rap with a hammer. Don't reuse them either. Buy new gr 8 bolts.

Does the sound seem to be coming from up front, or the tunnel?? They are known to crack where the mid pipe meets the tailpipe. Which would be roughly just forward of where the track makes its bend over the upper idlers going forward.

Since our snow is now gone, I decided to polish up the ol turd, and hope the 92 miles I rode last week isn't it for the entire season.
