I have over 2800km running Max 17 this year. I always fill up with 91 and never had any issues or had any knock to my knowledge. We ride fast and hard, lol. I personally don't like or want to carry octane boost around with me everywhere so I wanted the safest tune to run on 91. There was a...
We had a guy break the Dalton B/O spring this past weekend wrapped at 6-1. We were 100km in on a backpack trip, luckily we were only a few kms from a dealer and they were nice enough to pull a stock spring from a sled on the showroom floor. He's going to contact Dale but something to be aware...
I was able to get out for a quick ride and try the red ulmer spring wrapped at 9-1. Mid to top end had wicked grab n go, low end could use a bit more helix to make it snappier but not bad by any means. Im curious to see DCMTurbo findings if he decides to try the red spring. My secondary was...
Im starting to give up too, lol. Im running TD max 17, my blue panel and white decal is black. Drives me nuts but what can you do. I think in the spring Im going to install black panels along the bottom. My tunnel graphics are even starting to change color near the front of sled for crying...
Cat has 22/48 gearing vs the winder at 21/41 gears. If you plan on tuning the sled with that 1.75 track, be prepared to be dealing with possible clutch heat issues on the Yamaha. Im dealing with clutch heat issues on a 1.6 ice cobra track, tuned and clutched for 275 hp. I was going to change...
What tune, gears, and clutch set up are you running. Im running TD Max 17 with full Dalton clutch kit, DTAY 1 and both Dalton springs, with an 8DN. Alignment is 61mm, installed clutch vent kit, and still have hot clutches.
What tracks are you guys running while seeing your belt slip?
I have a 1.6 ice cobra and my winder does not like it at all, way to much clutch heat, on 3rd belt in 1100 miles of riding.
