    There Was No One There

Did a ride on Togwotee Pass on Monday and Tuesday. On Monday I was the only one ridding that day. Trails were dead smooth. I burned a whole tank of gas and did not pass anyone. Never had that happen before. On Tuesday I passed about 6 riders.

Traction Vs Boost and Clutch Set Up

I have a 2020 SRX and live in Jackson Hole Wy. I ride trails only and the amount of traction on offer can vary quite a bit depending on new snow and temp sequence. I also have to deal with elevation changes. I was working with a tuner on a custom tune and he kept saying I did not have the boost...

    Uphill Clutching

It has not snowed a healing amount of snow in Wyoming for 6 weeks now. So riding is down to just hill climbs. Which is still fun but its all that is left. Went out on my SRX with ice screws of a stock track and my brother on his 146 inch track with 2 inch paddles. Did our first side by side...

    Spring Riding In Wyoming

A great day in the Wyoming Range. Perfect spring conditions. Firm base with wind blown new snow. The SRX goes everywhere and the hill climbing is a real thrill! My brother Polaris would stop pulling uphill at about 70mph and the SRX is just getting going at that speed!

    Last Ride Of Season

Friday was my last day of the season. Do not trust the snow anymore. It gets so warm it goes rotten and you never know what it will support or if there is running water under it. Data logging to the end for a good high altitude map with header and 3 inch exhaust. After 8 maps at 275hp and 8 at...

SRX In Search Of Daytona 500

So while practicing social distancing today I found a new aspect of riding. The SRX is the first sled I have owned so I am still learning. Last Fridays powder has set up to corn snow which means you can go everywhere and everything is ultra smooth. I found myself entering a side hill with a...

    SRX In Powder

Winter blessed us with a brief return yesterday. 15 inches new on top of a spring surface. 130 inch base(should be good until June). I had my brother breaking trail for me on his Polaris on the uphill sections. Only had to bail on on one uphill section. It was a fun drive the Wyoming range with...

    Pure Magic

Yesterday was pure magic riding Union Pass in Wyoming. Went with my brother and 3 to 4 inches of untracked on top of a very smooth groom (the last of the year) and sunshine with temps in the low 20,s!! It was untracked on the way in and only our tracks on the way out. We were the only ones on...
