according to everyone, almost anything is better than the proaction. you could go with the air wave if $ is not a concern. 06-10 mono shock from an apex or a vector would work as well and travis at barn of parts makes a mount kit to swap them into the proaction sleds.
mine bent enough on the 11 that the drag n fly weights where hitting on the belt gaurd. it is on clutch #3 in 24000 mi as both other ones started cracking at the bottom. i usually pop the outer layer off on mine around the 2000 mi point when i get froggy with it.
03-05 rx1/warrior are the same exhaust. mtx might be different but all trail sleds where the same.

brother ran mbrp for awhile on the 05 rx warrior i sold him when it broke the pipes by muffler when tunnel to bulkhead rivits came loose. they are fine when new but once it burned in, none of us could stand it and he bought a new stock 03 rx1 muffler for it as the 05 had titanium exh on them...
lol i wish it was only my knee that popped in and out. best thing for my aches was the sled lift and a padded mat to lay/sit on when i have to be that low working on a sled. on # 8 so far this year with another waiting for me to get to it and that is no project sleds. only 6 running ones live...
the dash doesn't light up/work on the carb sleds until the engine is running. same with headlamp.
i would pull the plugs and check for spark 1st. if it has sat for longer than 2 months without running, you might need to re fill the float bowls by lightly pressurizing the gas tank vent tube.
i think the wind sheild mount goes with the head lamp pod/mount from when i looked at my brothers 13 gt.

if you want to run with kn pod filters , you need to use the yellow aftermarket cv springs for it to behave properly. did it for sappling killers 04 rx1 mod sled.
on the carbed sleds, the relays where above right footwell. on the efi sleds, they where mounted above the left footwell.
have you looked at the starter solenoid for dirty contacts on the plug in?
