Why so much hostility? Sorry if I offended any one. The ZR and Viper are almost identical, so I come here for the answers and ideas. There are more posts in 1 hour on the SR Viper forum than in 1 week on the Arctic Chat site. Very knowledgeable people on this site. I LOVE IT. Cheers Folks...

How is 2016 ZR7000 miss-leading? Only cat has a ZR7000

I dropped the sled off in the morning, I picked it up in the afternoon. They changed the clutch, Dealer did not know why it was recalled, he said he will let me know what the deal is, when he finds out. They also changed the o-ring in the chain case cover. It is a Team Ind. clutch....... cheers guys

dealer is 1.5 hours away, that means I will lose 5 hours out of my very busy schedule. Not to mention the $60 in fuel.

My brand new sled with ZERO miles on it has a recall already. Dealer called today, said the primary clutch must be changed. I guess I will get them to fix the chain case oil leak while it is there. I'm off to a bad start over here.

How many watts does the viper stator/alternator put out? How much do the hand grips, thumb, headlights, tail light, seat, and heated visor draw? Thanks Merry Christmas

Position #3 is the 3000 mile rebuild. When the oil in the shock is like muddy water, click it to #3 and ride it for 1 more season.

I noticed that on a demo sled that only had 400 miles on it.. I put a frogskin cover on the outside of the hood. Got it on Ebay for ZR7000. Not sure if they have it for vipers

Folks, There are thousands of these sleds out there with no issues. Yes there are a bunch of people with problems (sorry to all who had breakdowns), But This is my first new sled since 1998, I'm gonna cross my fingers and hope for the best. cheers. WFO!

Fasteners are manufactured with the loctite already on them. The loctite is dry when the fasteners are installed. When the screw goes into the hole some of the loctite gets stripped off of the screw. I suspect that is what happened in smoothride's situation. Maybe my sled has the same problem...

Does anyone know why these things are leaking? Bad gasket? bad design? Incompetent combine builder assembling my $17,000 sled? WTF?

My 2016 ZR7000 Limited has ZERO miles and it is dripping on the floor from the chain case. All combines drip oil.................
