Yup, I've got the muffin works pads. They are nice, effective and easy to install.

Honestly I would try riding your sled without pads. It's not like you are wearing shorts or just MX pants. I hug those panels like a 16 year old with first women! Even a 1/2 in back would hurt performance for me. I use Klim pants and sometimes just cheap bibs. Never have had sore legs or knees. I have actually been looking into moving foot wells forward and pushing in those panels so I can be a bit more forward. Your call though.

You can't just leave us hanging here like that! So what do they call them?

Scrapped the Yamapads today. Not enough coverage for knees when 'tank' riding .... but OK for standing. Muffins fit over and past the crease and are well positioned for knees when outside the tank (and perfect for standing).
how about the racewerks knee pads, are they any good. they look nice
They look great but not enough padding IMO. I had a pair. It depends on what you are after. I've had a few "incidents" where more padding was definitely nice on this chassis. I've tried a few kinds and I've stuck with the Skinz. Great coverage and plenty of padding. When riding I usually have my knees on them the majority of the time.

X2I drilled the foam out on the pads itself so the rivet would go far enough in the pad and also used aluminum rivets.
I have some miles on these knee pads and don't really like them. They don't mount far enough out so your knees rest on the outside of the pad. Ordered a pair of skinz protective gear pads![]()
No miles on them yet, but I can already tell I am probably not going to like them. Where seated on the sled, my knees will hit the outside edge as I don't sit along ways back from the fuel tank.
