Yep. This issue was new to us. I tried to search Totally Yamaha for the answer but my Blackberry wasn't having any of it. I confirmed the fuel relay being suspect when I got home and informed my buddies that when they returned the next day that the sleds would likely start. They did.
Thanks,
PK
My buddies were riding all day the other day with no problesm at 0 degrees. They rode into the night and I went to meet them for pizza. We arrived at the resturant at midnight and sat for 1 hour at - 12 degrees.
Both Nitros would not start and displayed code 43. We suspected frozen relays and...
I pulled my 05 out of storage, put 10 miles on it when the W arm broke. Perfectly craked around the welds. I imagine that the cracks started last year and a summer of corrosion finished it off. Dealer got Yamaha to pay for the parts so.....
The new arm is updated with some gussets.

I put 13,000 on my 97 SX with the original plugs. I'd clean and gap every year. The lack of performance was nominal and the joy of rubbing it in to the Cat guys who change them every ride was priceless.:) PK
I had my buddy take my 05 mono out last night for a spin around the yard to make sure it will run for my big trip coming up. Less than a mile the whole thing broke apart at the welds. Before I put it away last spring I had the dealer put on a new track and the speedo side shaft bearing. The...
Just what Swiss Sledder said. My Sister has a cabin at Elbert's Resort. When people are sitting in the bar complaining about no snow or bad trails I can always make it up to the North by staying away from the main routes. Stay away from the Hwy trails i.e 70 East/West or 45 North out of Eagle...
I wish I had a garage big enough to keep all my toys past and present. Alas all I have to show for my previous lives is this junk drawer full of the coolest mangled meddle bits you have ever seen.
Remote start with auto shut off when warm.
I like to sleep in and the (enter favorite description here) who like to let their sled warm up for a half hour next to my window when I'm trying to sleep just blows me away. As usual it's the two smokes and generally doesn't apply to Yamaha so bring...
Deer frighten me more that even drunks. I run scenarios through my mind on what would I do if...BAM...there's a deer that pops out in a straight away. How did you react not to get hurt?
??? I do what I say.
Change the oil at the end of my season.
Treat the gas... drain the bowls.
That's it.
I live in Florida so my weed-eater runs all year.
Yep....good people.
They were willing to canabilize a new 97 SX they had on the floor for me too though I was able to sledge hammer mine enough to get me through the week.
The President of my buddies snowmobile club wants to upgrade to 4 stroke from his Viper. He wants to buy my 05 RX1. He likes the motor and the sit back seating for trail cruising over the more fwd seating. PK
My buddy just got back from our dealer. He, our dealer, said that there are a bunch of big changes. I know he wants to sell us new sleds but his pre release comments are always on track. I guess the '08 Midwest show will be at the Grand Geneva resort in February. Wow, that early? Can anyone...
1 time the nitro was hauled off the course with a broken chain. A 2nd time it was hauled off with a drive shaft bearing or drive shaft. Sorry my Japanese isn't so good.
Anyone hear a rumor that Yam is hiring Robbie Malinowski? PK
