Deer frighten me more that even drunks. I run scenarios through my mind on what would I do if...BAM...there's a deer that pops out in a straight away. How did you react not to get hurt?

Glad yer not hurt.
I'd take the money you haven't spent and go spring check a REVXP.

I think the odds of a hitting a deer and ending your season are alot less than the odds of blowing an engine on a (without brand bashing) "brand x 2-stroke" and ending your season.

Glad to hear you are ok!

My last ride ended 2 weeks ago with my buddy hitting a deer at 70+ right in front of me. Lots of body work damage to his 05 Mach Z. I was glad we weren't cruising 100+ or it may not have been so good, slight bruisng but he's fine. Sled took the brunt, deer broke neck, he carried it on his arms for 50 yards before coming to a stop, braking hard he shrugged the deer off & ran over it. I pray that was a once in a lifetime experience.

I've hit two deer, one was a surprise, the other I knew I was going to hit, and couldn't avoid.
The surprise was about the most Adrenaline I've ever felt about 1 minute after stopping!!
Luckily, the only things hurt were the hood, and the deer.
