    Timbersled skid

Timbersled sold out awhile ago to Polaris awhile ago, they want the snowbikes. Last yr I picked up a 08 Nytro that has mtn tamer rear suspension. It needed some bushings, I called them up. They told me to find local dealer, as they didn't seem interested in helping me. Found a dealer that...

want a cheap nytro? buy them in alaska!

Its becoming the same in Western Canada, the market is flooded with them. People are trying to sell 240/270 MCX turbo Nytro's for $5000 Cdn dollars & there not moving either.

    RX1 fuel pump

I agree with Givemeaboost on 4.5lbs, fuel pressure reading is taken before the carbs. As the regulator knocks the pressure the pump will make.

    Vipex Build by CR Racing

Im going to guess it belongs to Climbmax, as that appears to be his MCX Viper in the back ground. Plus I heard from a little birdy that he was building one. Awesome looking build, nice to see Yamaha style chaincase, Yamaha oil tank & the good old powerhouse 4 cylinder. Nothing beats that...

    Vin location on motor?

I looked my Yamaha book, 8GL-000015 is the start of the serial number run. Yours is 4896 after the first one was installed in the FX10X model, assuming that's base model sled. I cant tell what year yours is, but the mag housing gasket is the same from 2008 to 2015. I looked the gasket up...

    Goggle box for nytro?

I know this isn't what you want. I noticed on buddies nytro that was stock other than skinz hood(its so ugly looking), the heat that just rose out of it. So I brought the instrument panel vent from MountainTech Ind instead, does the same job but looks totally stock. Couple mins of goggles...

2009 MCX 240 Nytro Clutching Help. Blowing Belts.

Here is most nytro owners run in the mtns of BC. BWB primary spring, 14.5 rollers, weight is up to you & your hp level keeping rpm in check. Typcially 70 grams to 80 grams of weight depending on boost level. Bolts, pins, etc not included Secondary helix of 47 degree, EPI purple spring...

    MTX Line up

Where is the 174x3 track already? Drop & Roll chaincase like the cat got, will have to get rid of that goofy cat oil tank thou for that to work.

nytro code 30 + strange oil thickness

Does the oil taste sweet? If so you have coolant in the oil. Next thing I would do is get an oil sample done, cheap compared to a wreck engine.

    Blowing belts

Same as Ken said, 1-6. Run 47 degree helix with purple EPI spring. Have this in my RX1 & Nytro, both mtn sleds turing 162 tracks. No belt issues with either of my sleds. Been on a turbo Yamaha since 2004, using oem belts.

    Turbo Nytro crankcase breathers

Does anybody have a better setup than the mcx breather box uses? Im having some condensation issues with it. I know its not antifreeze, cause it does not taste sweet. It tastes like nothing. Thanks for any ideas.

Warning, -16 late build Viper turbo breakdowns, bad rods.

The guy must read this forum if he knows about Hurricane. To me it kinda omits there is an issue.

Who Says the Phazer can't Highmark!

Good to hear you had a great time in Golden & enjoyed mtn riding. Should come back on April 1st weekend in Revelstoke for Yamafest.

    Nytro Rods

I can only comment on turbo Nytro's that are used in the mtns. Know lots of people that run 17lbs of boost on a stock engine, only part that was added was a head shim. Lots of them are over 5000 to 10,000kms of boost also. I have seen a few head shims blow out, starting to think aftermarket...

    Extrovert drivers???

typically any drivers that are white plastic are cnc made, alot stronger & cost more. the black plastic are blow molded, cheaper to make. they work for 99% of the sleds. is your apex boosted? if so avid is the way to go. pretty sure cr is just selling avid drivers. i have avid drivers...
