After doing a lot of research; the Curve XS ski seems to be part of the solution for Viper steering issues. Does the XSM also solve these problems or is it too aggressive for 50/50 crossover use? Also; where is the best place to purchase? Through Curve direct?
Thanks in advance.
I myself like the sled to pull hard 0-70... not being able to hit triple digits or close to it is a problem though. I would really like to avoid the 10+ hours of clutch tuning and get it close to start. My Nytro setup was for a shorty so if I start with that I think I will be off a lot. The idea...
What were you seeing for top speed when stock/running the DNF clutching? Also what track length? Where's TURK at nowadays?!?
He was a big help setting up my Nytro. Thinking about getting a new DNF kit and starting where I left off with the Nytro... feel like it should be similar.
Good morning; I had previously read the FAQ but saw most of the information was outdated although likely still relevant.

I'm new to the Viper model; just purchased a holdover 16' XTX SE. I'm fresh off a Nytro RTX running full excell system and DNF clutching. Only have a few miles on the Viper and come to the conclusion it's a dog with stock clutching. In 3+ years of Viper aftermarket R & D who has the best clutch...
When it comes down to it... its a 2009 so if it has that many miles its probably similar to highway miles and wear and tear on the machine really shouldnt be an issue... excluding balljoint and bearings... which will be an easy cheap fix. If you find it for around 4kish i'd say give er hell.
I dont think it's so much the straps... of course it will help but when it comes right down to it its traction. In the right snow I can stand back and ride a wheelie for a couple hundred feet. I'm not talking skis off the ground im talking almost vertical... I can throw the sled right over...
Had 500 miles on my full excell exhaust with excell plastics with no problems. 300 miles into this year and the plastics slowly warped and eventually cracked at the curves. Only changes to the sled was a PCV running ulmers map, CR10EKS, AMS 0-40oil.... sent an email to Allen this morning...
