I had the same problem when I had mine. Seals were fine, no leaking. I don't think there is any place where it vents so I could see when it would get hot, it would vent somewhere like the dipstick, and when air would cool again, contract and create a vacuum and suck in moisture from the shaft...

Never thought of just cutting off, drilling and tapping the old zerk. I had seen in the past removing the zerk completely and welding a nut. Good idea!

I got the 1/8 NPT sensor. Check for a gauge on its own with the 1/8 NPT sensor. Mine was branded Keenso from Amazon Canada.

I bought mine separately from the gauge. It was actually 26mm.

Do you mean a Phazer MTN? It should fit barring anything inside the tunnel hitting the paddles. I think I've seen guys using 2" paddles on these. I've installed a used 1.5 from a Doo on an extended Phazer GT after trimming .5" on each side to fit the 14" tunnel.

That RPM is around where the clutch engages so it could be the clutches or something in the drive that's not moving. Are you able to turn the secondary with the rear of the sled in the air?

Fits just fine on my RS Venture GT. Also fits on Nytros and Phazers. Could be a slight difference with the Vector and Apex.
