you don't need to. I just did mine and was concerned also because it looked very close, called the owner at Avid and he has never had to trim. Ride it a few miles and check it, everything settles in and it looks alot better.

thanks. I have the Barker on my xtx and it did melt the plastic. I put the sound reducer on and it really sounds good, not at all loud at idle or engagement does get louder at higher throttle but sound is awesome. I really like it other than the plastic, definatly made a power difference for sure.

I just changed the track on my XTX and was wondering if anyone has used Klotz Chain Case Lube instead of the oem yamalube????? Should I take the trip to the dealer or go with the Klotz, sled is brand new zero miles????? Thanks in advance

Error code 84 what does T.O.R.S. Stand for? This is what code 84 says, symtom is "detecting conditions for TORS are satisfied" not sure what this means.

where did you get the AMP billet bag mount and the bag?

Tail light did you have to do any fabrication? Did it just fit?

Just bought my first Yamaha and was looking for some sugestions on suspension set-up. I put a Back Country on and a set of C&A Razors (white) looks awesome. After over 25 years with Cat's, this is the best looking sled, in my opinion, on the snow. Just hoping it handles as good as my last sled...

Hey, I just bought the Back country for my XTX, should have it tomorrow. Do i need to install new extroverts??? How difficult was the install?? I was considering sending it to the dealer, not sure if I had the patience.
