I'm swapping out the stock gears on a 2016 MTX, going to a 21/41 setup. Can anyone tell me what length of chain I need? I'm assuming I'll need an 86 link, since that's what the XTX requires with the same gearing, but can someone verify? TIA

A clean, low mileage SR Viper M-tx 162 came up for sale fairly local to me, and I'm thinking about buying it and shortening it to a 153. Can someone tell me if the tunnel is longer on the 162? If i woupd have to shorten the tunnel, or replace it completely, it might not be worth messing with.

The m-tx that I'm looking at is a 2016 with a 153" track. My concerns with the m-tx were that it might be too unstable in the harder snow conditions that we have a lot of times here. Would the b-tx a-arms be the only difference in front end, or are there other differences in suspension set up?
