That's good info! But later when? 2011? Only reason I'm curious about this is because a Star 128" relocate kit would be another top mod once I buy a nytro. I already have 128" track sitting in the garage with 2.86 pitch.
So when they changed to extros they changed the driver pitch? That's how they went from a 121"-> 120". The 121 was a 2.52 drive pitch and the 120 is a 2.86 drive pitch
As some of you know I'm looking into a nytro. I've found a couple good deals. I'm looking at an 09 RTX SE and a 13 RTX. What would the differences be between these years? Anything at all or are they pretty much the same? Thanks
Thanks for the input guys. Not really too concerned about the front shocks. That would probably be an upgrade I'd make relatively soon after my purchase. Do you guys recommend and years over the others? Mostly been looking at 11s, 12, and 13s. Thanks again for the help and suggestions.
I actually just installed a 1.6 ice cobra on my XRS. No snow where I live, so no seat time yet. I'm used to running 1.75 tracks so we will see how I like it. The race tracks are great for powder, but low snow conditions tend to eat them up. That's why I went with a touch smaller lug that is also...
If I went to a 1.5 lug I'd probably look into the newer composit talon track. That being said I wanted to go with the cobra 1.352 for her because I know they perform better in the loose stuff and off trail then the stock track. To help get rid of most of the track spin on trail I was going to...
Im thinking of upgrading the track on my GFs ZR 7000. I dont like the stock track. Never have liked them on my sleds. Trying to get the GF off the beaten path more and I think a 1.352 cobra would be a good upgrade for her. Also, if any of you guys are running this track, what are you running...
If I could find a good deal, then maybe. I got her a ZR because it was a smoking deal that I couldn't pass. But I'm still seeing leftover Nytro RTXs go for more then what I bought her ZR for. I don't think I could find a viper for anywhere close to that. Plus I've always liked the looks of the...
I have a ZR 7000 sno pro. Its not a viper but may be similar. Maybe you guys can help me out and explain to me why country cat lists 2 different slide rail sizes from the 2014 to the 2015 ZR 7000s. The 2014 lists as a 128" and the 2015 a 129". Am I missing something? I thought all the short...
I'm on the look out now. Are there any differences between the. 2011-2013 Nytro RTX sleds? What pitch and tooth drivers do these sleds run as well? Thanks for the help.
Very interesting points there. I've had 3 skidoo race sleds and 2 skidoo XRS model sleds up until this point. Besides a couple of cats for the GF. I'm really looking for a 4-stroke ditch banger that's more reliable then the 2 smokes. I've ridden an XTX nytro before and I liked it, but I don't...
Looking for opinions guys. I'm looking to get a sled for myself. Last year I bought my girl a ZR 7000 and I really enjoy the Yamaha motor. I'm looking to pick up a nytro for my self and was wondering if you guys think I'll like the nytro compared to the pro cross chassis. Let me know what you...
Picking up a new leftover nytro RTX this weekend hopefully. First thing I'm going to do is change the exhaust. Which one do you guys prefer? Which one is louder? And which one shows better HP gains? I'll be getting the full exhaust not just a slip on. Thanks for the input.:
