Im thinking of upgrading the track on my GFs ZR 7000. I dont like the stock track. Never have liked them on my sleds. Trying to get the GF off the beaten path more and I think a 1.352 cobra would be a good upgrade for her. Also, if any of you guys are running this track, what are you running for studs? Just looking for reviews at this point. Thanks

What length do you need? My brother and I both swapped out to the Ripsaw 2 in the new 1.5" lug height. So both our old tracks are for sale. I have the stock Ripsaw 2 in the 1.25 height. And my brother has the Cobra 1.352" lug. Both are 129".
EDIT: - Info about our experience with Ripsaw 2 - 1.5" and Cobra 1.325"
But with that being said, I can tell you that so far I am VERY pleased with the new Ripsaw 2 - 1.5" lug. We haven't had enough snow to try it in something deeper, but trail performance so far is great. Lots of hook up - can almost lift the skis at will. And cornering has been great. It's weird, but it's side to side traction isn't anymore than the 1.25. The 1.5" lug has brought a level of playfulness to the sled that didn't exist before due to track spin of the 1.25".
My brother did like his Cobra last year when he ran it. It worked great in loose trails and in the powder. We were both surprised at how much he could go through for a 129". But in real hard pack trails, the Ripsaw 2 did perform better as the Cobra lugs tended to fold over a bit more causing track spin. Neither of us run studs.

Camoplast rep told me that ripsaw is better trail track. The cobra is same lug height but they have the molded rubber looking studs are where the taller measurement come from. Ripsaw2 really interests me personally.

If I went to a 1.5 lug I'd probably look into the newer composit talon track. That being said I wanted to go with the cobra 1.352 for her because I know they perform better in the loose stuff and off trail then the stock track. To help get rid of most of the track spin on trail I was going to add studs up the middle. But what size studs should I run? Looking to do 3 studs per bar.

My sled came with the 1.7 Sno-X track and it REALLY hooks up nice. These tracks are extremely stiff, but not exceptionally durable. As a result I am shopping tracks. In talking to John Robare at Camso (Camoplast) the 1.6 Cobra was recommended. I was a bit surprised and confused as I saw the 1.352 Cobra was quite a flimsy flexible lug. What I was told is that in order to accommodate ice studs the 1.6" Cobra tracks had added stiffening towers making the lugs much more rigid. I'm not sure what, if anything they did with the 1.352 as far as stiffening.
I'm going to try the 1.6 Ice Cobra on the Renegade this year as a test and will see how well it works. This sled is a 137" Ripsaw and it's a flimsy POS.
If I like the 1.6 cobra on the Gade I may put one on the Viper next season.
In terms of a shorter lug track I've heard god things about the Ice attak XT. Nice rigid lug style.

This is my second season running the 1.6 ice cobra on my 15 ltx dx 137, I gotta say I love, it's a perfect blend of trail/off trial and it works well on frozen creeks and rivers.i want to get the 1.6 cobra ice as well..this factory ripsaw tracks SUX lol

I actually just installed a 1.6 ice cobra on my XRS. No snow where I live, so no seat time yet. I'm used to running 1.75 tracks so we will see how I like it. The race tracks are great for powder, but low snow conditions tend to eat them up. That's why I went with a touch smaller lug that is also more flexible.I'm not sure if the girl would like that much lug.

I had 13 nytro xtx 1.75x 144" back country,no shortage of traction on or off trail, but couldn't run studs, too big of a risk of ruining the cooler.I actually just installed a 1.6 ice cobra on my XRS. All great info and opinions. Does anyone know what size studs to run on a 1.352 cobra? Or should I give camoplast a call tomorrow? Thanks
