Looking for mounts and or spacers or even a kit to put a apex motor into a nytro i am not going to turbo it at first just want set the motor in then decide what route to go.
I have done the 190hp and 270hp both mcx the 190 is fun should be offered from factory (just my opinion) the 270hp was crazy will need bigger track pushed it to 15lbs with race fuel wow still prefer the nytro felt better over all(again just my 2 cents)
This is intersting i am running a 240 kit(mcx12lbs boost) in a 2013 nytro xtx that runs off factor fuel pump, thicker head gasket 91 octane fuel whenever possible i have 1900 miles so far and run it hard i can expect engine trouble ? Sure hope not but if it happens i have a plan b.
i run with a buddy who has my old apex and i took less fuel from fuel stop to fuel stop did 95 miles with stock fuel tank, i have also burned a full tank of fuel in 40 miles running hard boosting 10-13 lbs most of the 40 miles. 1700 miles no problem and 1 belt. ;)!
Went on my first sled trip with my turbo nytro trailered for 2 hours -8c stop to unload sled,started it up and oil light came on would not shut off, stopped engine and restarted light still on, stopped engine again checked oil level, good started it again and all is good rode for 6hrs no problem...
i ride my 2013 xtx 1.75 on the trails all the time. went from apex to nytro ride is fine just run ice scrapers on a arms and on the suspension no problem with sliders over 1000 miles.
