    Chain Tensioner

I used the manual chain adjuster from the race sled in mine. Problem solved. I doubt it will be a problem at all with 135 hp. I wouldn't worry.

    Chain Tensioner

It's a '12 turbo. It's the best out of the box sled I've ever owned. Handles and rides awesome. I'm on my second winter and it still puts a smile on my face when I squeeze the trigger. I did replace the tri-hub with a 4 wheel kit and fuss with the rear skid shock alittle to get it right for...

If you want some good laughs.......

I'm riding a procross turbo. Procross chassis is awesome! Yamaha engine is awesome! This is going to be a winning combo! Probably get the Viper 137 to replace wife's LXR

    Viper differences

Re: seperate lines There is only 1 sled line at Thief River falls. The same crew that builds the kittys will build the vipers. No worry, they're gonna be an awesome sled

    Has anyone else heard this....

I agree, although the new cat clutches will be fine with 137 hp, but I do like the Yamaha clutches. I like the blue and white 137. That's what my wife will be riding next winter. She rode the Viper demo and said the fuel map was definitely not right, I rode the ZR7000 and it was spot on. We...

Negative ghost rider. They're the same sled except the differences I stated. We sell 'em both.I'd be pretty hard to get a Yamaha clutch on a cat splined j-shaft, haha Have a great day

    Has anyone else heard this....

The ZR7000 and the Vipers are the same sled. No different bolts and nuts, no different fuel maps, no different chaincase. Yamaha clutches, Yamaha splines on the j-shaft, different plastic and different shocks. That's it. It's gonna be a real nice sled, especially boosted!

    Has anyone disected the Viper??

We took one apart. All Cat except engine and engine mounting, clutches, and plastic panels.

Boost-it already has one on the snow. They built the sled themselves. Stock Nytro engine and their low boost turbo kit installed with water to air intercooler and GTX Garrett turbo. Using a Team Tied instead of the Cat secondary. Check it out here

    Sr viper/procross chassis

I have a Cat '12 turbo with no issues at all. 3376 miles on the original belt and it looks good. Hoping to get another 300 this weekend. That being said, I think the Viper will be an awesome sled. We are trading the wifes LXR for one. I'm confident it will be a fun and reliable sled! Can't...

About that new Viper Exhaust. . .

That exhaust looks real turbo friendly to me :D

I don't understand...... OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!

Same here. I've got 2600+ on my turbo with no issues at all. 500 of them on a TD flash. I do think the chaincase issues that some were/are having is due to the tcl setup, and the j-shaft nut being loose. Yamaha isn't using the tcl so thats a BIG plus in my opinion. I'm keeping my turbo...
