I did get it to work had to use the apex plastic shields and the rx1 tips. You have to bend the steel flanges in the bottom of the pipes in to get the angle to match the exhaust shields. Also have to washer the single top bolt out. If u cut the brackets off and re welded them on the...
I actually ended up sending it to a local repair guy and it was the main jet needle seat or something of that sort plus they were out of sync(sync doesn't have much to do with the abundance offuel that was coming out) but problem is solved and sled is running better then ever before.thanks for...
The sled starts and idles perfect. But as soon as touch the throttle the gas come pouring out of one of tge carbs. I will check the tors. And give it a clean. How do you no if a float needle Is failing or not seating. And how do I check/change float adjustments. Thanks again best winter I've had...
So I looked at it some more tonight and it's running so rich that it's dumping fuel into the airbox on one carberator. And I'm also getting flames out of the tail pipe. Any help would be awesome thanks.
I did clean the float needles. But I'm going to try cleaning the carbs again.if one float needle was plugged wouldn't just one cylinder be running rich? All the plugs are black.
I have a 2003 rx1 that is getting overloaded with fuel. I put brand new plugs (cr10ek) in and after an hour of running they are jet black but not wet . It has a very bad bog when I give it throttle until the engine catches up and then it runs ok. I have cleaned the carbs. Replaced the plugs...
Just so everyone know you can still run the ulmer kit for an 03. He sells them without the upper bushings. So u just have to run stock bushings in them.
If ihe lost his coolant over the summer when he wasn't running it I don't think it's a head gasket. If he is using coolant and tge head gasket is gone it is either getting burned or you should be able to see it in tge oil
I put the olite kit from ulmer racing. Great kit and better quality then stock. You will find a lot of people on Herr are using them. Think it runs about 120$ for all bushings.
