I am looking for the part # for a Fox 2.0 zero qs3 rear arm shock that would fit a 2015 SRViper LTX DX. Would the Arctic Cat 8639-320 be the proper one as I have a good price on a new one from a dealer in Alberta? Perhaps @cannondale27 would know.
Installing the softer springs from the newer...
Days are getting shorter. Suspension coming out this week and softer spings will be going in, all shocks will be revalved and will comment further when weather permits... Have a great summer

Upgraded 4 years ago to Bill's 160lb spring for my 2015 LTX DX and made a big difference. This summer installing the 8JX-G7473-00-00/8JX-G7474-00-00 torsion springs which I should have done a long time ago..
Thank you for your suggestions. I'm in Manitoba, just east of Wpg. A friend just dropped by and checked the sag, a whopping 2". Had the shock serviced in January. I have been in touch with John and my local shock expert and has helped out in the past. Im sure the springs will be less to...
Enjoying this thread & after a few years reading threads etc. planning to do some updates on my 2015 LTX DX rear suspension. 68 yrs, 185 lbs. 2000 miles per year trail. I have a whopping 2" of sag. Rear shock was serviced Jan. 2023. Using Stingray center spring tightened so there is no...
Hi
I am curious. I have a 15 LTX DX with Bill Mohr' centre shock spring. I keep looking to get a little plissher ride for the 69 year old 190# body. 12,500 miles on sled and shocks done on a regular basis. You & your wife sound like you have had a good experience with slightly softer torsion...
Never thought of replacing the shaft. Next time.
Got everything back in. Put 3 2×4's under the rails in the middle and allowed the skid to pivot. Used a block and tackle to lift the back.
We had snow in Western Manitoba yesterday, hockey is starting, 1st club meeting last week so riding...
After looking closer the left side slot on the skid dropped off the front arm. Glad I caught it. Now redo things. Have a good 3 months to fix it.
Glad I caught it
What would cause the springs from being uneven when putting suspension back in. I never took a picture of both sides before tear down. Shocks revalved and torsion on medium. Thanks

Springs, spindles & bumper done. Now rear bumper & skid.
Question: read a lot about the cat center shock spring 95/250 & the 160 for the LTX. Or should I just do shocks and have recalibrated? 64 years and 90% trails in...
A mechanic I am not. My sons however. Pickle fork, pressure and a hammer. Backed off the nuts to allow for room, but left on as suggested by another poster. 10-15 minutes and done. The worst part was getting the bolts out of the skis. The bolts were pretty much seized into the bushings...
My sons came to my rescue. Brought over a pickle fork and a couple bangs with hammer and they popped right off. Careful around the boots and all is good.
Spindles, springs and front bumper off to powdercoating with son #1
