Where are you Vermont guys located in the state I'm in southern vt with 14 viper stuck at 75 miles where the snow

The viper forum has been slow latley I guess that's a good thing bc everyone's sleds have been pretty good . But I check this forum all day lol lets head some good story's or videos I'm stuck at 75 miles on new rtx se we need snow in ny/vt.

Yamatim - what kind of c&a skis do you have ? I have the c&a pro razors with 6inch carbides and I feel they grab to hard in the tight trail and I have to keep checking my skis up(so I won't over steer) and I feel it's slowing me down a lot when I'm riding hard just wondering what ones u have

Today was my first real ride my rtx se it's brand new I put on about 25miles today and it seemed kinda doggish over 6000 rpms she still needs to break in do you think I'll feel more power once the sled is at 100 + miles?

I got my rtx-se early last week from ny state didn't snow check .... We finally got snow I'll be hitting the trail tomm ....!

I just checked the digital dash it was over 3/4 so I shut her down do you think I should let it idle for 15 mins like the book says for break in? Or just let it get to temp and ride it easy for the first 100 miles? I'm trying to post a pic of the sled it says file to too big :/

Yea that's what I figured I'm keeping it in the trailer untill I'm able to ride on trail and have open space to ride

I got my sled home today and i fired it up let it idle until the light went off slowly circled it around the yard twice and loaded it in the trailer. Once half way in the trailer I had it idling thinking it was fine bc there's a 15 minute break in period. Then I hear fan turn on and I check the...

It is pretty quick actually just got my sled yesterday and the dealer did it I'm about 1 minute to be honest ... Plus it's a Yamaha we don't have to change belts often :sled1:

Well it should be ready in the morning and more then ready to get it I'm just not the best with a wrench or problem solving my 04 viper needed nothing but gas and oil and I ride that sled very hard. Now I see starting issues lol I'm gonna get it and hope for the best...!

Do you guys think there's to many issues with this new yamacat? I havnt got my sled yet they say tuesday it will be ready to pick up I have a $1000 down on it. I want a mint brand new sled with no issues I don't know if I should hold off or still get it ...? Rtx se blue. I hate the cat issues I...

How is everyone setting up your heated shields ? I don't know why they didn't put a heated shield plug right on the sled

I also bought the c&a razors for my rtx se how was the steering with them people are trying to tell me that will be very hard to steer what are your thoughts hope you get out in the trails with more reports for us no snow in ny/vt yet

So how did the viper compare to the doo ? What size doo is that and did you run them at all?

Are you all using 87 octane ?
