Hey guys. I believe the front shox on a 07 phazer fx are 16” center to center. Does that mean that a 16.5” fox float shock would bottom out if installed? Just wondering if there is a way i cud run them?
Thanx
Seth
Hey guys,
07 phazer fx had a large mouse nest above the brake. A large percentage of the nest was chewed up pieces of grey foam. My first assumption was they chewed up the air filter in the air box but it seems intact. Any other locations of foam inside a phazer fx where it could of come...
Hey there,
After installing ulmer a-arm bushings the collars (long tubes inside arms) on my upper a-arm were such a tight fit in the new bushings that i had to tap them in with a mallet. Now the collars i doubt will rotate inside the a-arms so the a-arm movement will be the collars rotating on...
I contacted upbushman via the email at the beginning of this thread, (uptime@gmx.us) my parts were shipped with in hours of receiving my payment complete with tracking number. Thanx rob.
Hello guys,
I have significant slop at the bottom of my steering pivot arm assembly. I contacted upbushman about his kit weeks ago but have not heard back. I really only want the parts at the end of the assembly anyway, does anyone know exactly which parts i would need to tighten it up at base...
Hey guys,
I am swapping out the subframe on my 07 phazer fx. I was going to follow cannondales oil change thread for removal instructions and then transfer the old parts onto the new "to me" subfame and bolt it back on. For those of you who have done this sort of thing before any suggstions...
I think in my case I must of at least tweaked something because they were spaced even last year. Ill
let you know what I find as soon as I am able to start digging in. I wanted to do arm bushings and probably steering kit anyways. Are there seperate bushings for the bulkhead that I should...
Thanks everyone for your input and ideas. Ill start digging into the sled hopefully next week and keep you posted on my findings! Or more likely ask more questions on what exactly I should be doing.... ;)
Thanks for the reply blueironranger, i really appreciate it. So it sounds like the best thing to do would be to take apart the front end until i can remove the subframe/bulkhead? Are the oil change directions from connondale27 the recomended instructions to follow for this sort of job?
Thanks
Hey Guys,
I noticed that the front shocks on my 07 phazer fx are no longer equally spaced between the A-arms. When I purchased the sled 2 years ago the shocks seemed too close to the front of the A-arms (pencil width) but I was told as long as both sides are the same not to worry about it...
You are corret, the shims sit between the secondary sheaves. It is my understanding that removing shims will bring the sheaves closer together thus raising the belt height. I think it is different on another yamaha model but not with the phazer.
