Mine was from the harness coming from the high/low switch on the handlebars. I think it did not help how I rerouted the wires because of the OFT Relocator install. Did Yamaha change the routing of the wires because I do not see the harness routing like this on my '12 Nytro like Grizz is...
Thanks for the reply... I think I just figured my issue out. I just noticed that when I turned the handlebars is when I popped a fuse. So I think mine was pinching the wires coming from the high/low switch. I rerouted the wires and rotated the handlebars from left to right and no issues now...
Mr Sled,
I know that this is a old post but I am seeing the same issue with my Nytro and was wondering if you remember what was your issue? Just looking for some ideas on where to start.
Thanks,
DK
Just got my son's Sno Scoot back together and here it is next to my Nytro XTX. A family member owns a graphic shop and done both of the wraps for me. Now if there was just enough snow. :sled1:[hr]
Was not sure about tunnel wrap, this year I polished the tunnel and my boots left marks. So I am a little hesitant on putting wrap on the tunnel for fear that my boots would damage. Just got the final design done on Friday and should be picking it up this week. Also got the design back for my...
They are working on the final design right now....I am having them match my Nytro and son's Sno Scoot. Shadow Graphix in Indianapolis is doing the work for me, this is there first time doing a snowmobile but they have worked on motorcycles and race cars.
Well getting ready to go pick up a Sno Scoot tomorrow for my son, nieces and nephew. Is there any areas that I should pay close attention? Hopefully I am not paying too much, got it for $1200 and no rips, tears or cracks in anything. The front bumper is even straight. Was told once it starts...
So not sure how much this will play into my hyfax wear but just noticed that on my 2012 XTX the second set of wheels from the front are further forward than the pictures on Yamaha-Motor.com Take a look below, think I am going to try to run them further towards the rear and hopefully this will...
I just put a set of '98 SRX skis on my Exciter that has a first generation Phazer front end. The nice thing about the '98 SRX skis is that the saddle is taller but you still would have to do some machining and welding. There is about an +1" spacer in the saddle that I milled out and them...
Does any know if there are screens available for the air intake to radiator on upper cowling? I was just curious if it was possible or would it restrict to much air flow to the radiator. Please see picture below to reference the location.
Thanks,
DK
I picked my XTX up two weeks ago..... I wish mine had the sticker on the front piggy back reservoirs on the shocks, they just look plain without something. I am really satisfied with the new purchase and have already installed the OFT relocator. Just from sitting in the garage I can tell a...
