The two best deals I have closed were when I made my offer and told them that was all I would do and left my number. In each case I got a call six weeks later. No hassle, no dickering.
Seems I can revive this one ... not quite a complete necro thread.
2024/2025 season has begun. Could be a good six months long easy. My boat is still in the water but I see where a couple of the others have been out on their sleds.

This is a link to a story with video of a race in Nunavut that has been resurrected after...
Thanks Fleecer, that is the only style that has ever lasted more than one season for me and if I can get them off EBAY I will have eliminated the last remaining reason I have for crossing the threshold of the most dreaded motorsports dealership in town.
If it was mine I'd siphon the tank empty, fill it with fresh premium with a shot of SeaFoam, start it up and not shut it off again till I ran out of gas. OK, maybe not 200kms but it needs to be used. I have two sleds in the driveway and neither of them gets any better just sitting. Your poor...
Thanks Earthling, after a while of living like this a guy actually can't go back. No, I'm not missing anything ... I know what's going on, have an opinion and do my part but being immersed in tech wouldn't add. That said I'm not ruling out getting an indoor toilet some day.
Out of curiousity I clicked on this thread to find out what a streaming stick is. Living as I do in rural northern Canada I've never heard of them and from this thread it seems I may not be missing much. Reminds me of the time way back when I was in a city and walked into an electronics store. I...
Obviously our country is too big ... I had to google jet sled to confirm that it is one and the same with skimmer.
I couldn't get my gear on my sled. And I don't have to unpack fishing stuff to use the sled for something else. If you encounter overflow often I have a tip for you ... an ice...
You are not getting a lot of action here and I'm not much help. Just in case you haven't considered it I prefer pulling a skimmer for a number of reasons not the least being in bad overflow. My sled is lighter and I leave the skimmer behind. When out I tie on to the skimmer with a rope.
Are you sure this is the proper procedure for diagnostic mode. I don't have your model but this sounds a little off to me. Like the others I think that what you report with the EPS light indicates all normal.
Not meaning to do a total thread hijack but I don't mind bragging about where I live. The mountain passes to the Alaska coast are choked with snow. One highway was closed for two weeks. At home here we had a great snow pack and just adequate ice on the big lakes. Had is the operative word. We...
I once lost pump prime on my MP while doing an oil change ... don't know why. I used compressed air to gently pressurize the oil tank to speed up the re-prime. The caveat is to be very, very gentle.
I don't know if your '08 will be the same as my '20 ... that is a big gap. There is a 1.5 inch diameter hole in the lower plastics. Pop out the cover and I'm looking straight at a sight glass. How about yours?
