Yes. Loosen the nut on the back shaft. Then use the adjustment bolts to adjust tension as needed.
Once you have aligned the track it’s a good idea to run the track a few turns to make sure it’s still inline.
Tighten up the back shaft and you’re good to go.
It don't matter which black goes which wires. Yes, the red/blue goes together on the rsi heaters that I have installed in the past.
The last set (different brand) I installed were 3 wire but were different colors so I had to do some trial and error to get them working.
I'm not sure about the...
Not sure if anything different from 08 to 09 or not. But on my 09 there are only 2 black coming from the snowmobile. If you cut off 3-wire they were most likely added later. Dig into the harness on the handle bars to find where the 3 wire and 2 wire are spliced together.

I had an 09 vector and the reverse started acting up for no good reason. I would put it in reverse and everything would be fine. When I hit the gas it would snap out of reverse and back in fwd. Not exactly “not moving” like your own, but it would only happen under load. Lift the back end up and...
I went through entire suspension couple years ago replacing all bearings and bushings also. I just use the non-synthetic grease. It seems to hold up well and I always give it another shot after a thousand or so kms. I usually go through the entire skid every year take apart and clean up so the...
Those extra wheels look to me like the marginal snow kit sold by yamaha. Not sure if still available or not.
I believe tho that that kit came with 4 wheels and was intended to be mounted between the first and second outside sets but on the inside of the rails. It’s meant to reduce hyfax wear in...
