Hello, I have found out recently Yamaha is replacing Singleshot shocks with one much better. Including the 2016 models.
I have a red and silver power surge 16, XTX LE 1.75. I must find all about what is involved in this procedure to get the representative from the factory to approve an...

It looks down real low, I suppose it is. I have only bottomed it out once, and I didn't like it..ha. I really like how it sticks to the trail and handles razor sharp. Bumpy trails still suck. Thinkin of letting 10 p.s.i. out of the rear shock. May as well get it a bit softer....

How many miles before I run out of gas anyway? Fuel countdown is up to 15 miles traveled. I'll measure what's in the tank with a yardstick.

Riding big miles, enjoying the views. Totally digging the Singleshot suspension. This chassis is a culmination of trail riding feedback. Tuning fork engineers rock !!

I am 56 years old, ride 97 miles today. Single shot is kicking #*$&@. Seems to me every generation gets softer.....haha

No one can catch me. They all say the 35 to 40 foot of chunks my back country x track throws upon them is real pretty too.......

I like mine. 16 Apex singleshot. Can't remember for sure, but I think 45 or 50 in front and 120 psi rear..... Might bump it up tomorrow.....

Rear of sled picked up. Wipe the snow off the valve cover cap. Unscrew it. Screw pump on then adjust. Adjusting has never been easier on any sled ever until now. One shock, no spanner wrenches. It is the most !!!

I LOVE it ! My adjustment on the Singleshot is 115 p.s.i. now. Going back up to 120 or 125. Fronts are at 40 p.s.i. I think it is the greatest.
I have to add more idler wheels, 1.75 Backcountry X is hard on slides.

The Yamaha Performance Dampers work very well. This is the first sled I have had that does not shake up and explode beer in the saddle bags.... It seams maybe they work too well....
