You are correct!! It says "firmly attached ". I'm thinking I may have a point, that heavy duty Velcro holds 60lbs, mirror weighs a few ounces. Think I should contest this?

Thank you for all that detailed information. I looked into the left side mirror rule, in Quebec, you Must have a rear view mirror PERMANENTLY installed on the left hand side of the machine. Mine was installed with Velcro and a bead of silicone. Is that considered permanent? I don't believe I...

Thanks Fellas, You are all 100% Right! There is just nothing like sledding, do what makes you happy is the way to be. Went into my garage, just sat on my nytro, had a cold beer, read your posts, started shopping for a turbo for next year! Appreciate the motivation!!

    Worried about winter....

Hi everyone, I need some reassurance. I'm worried about the future of snowmobiling due to "global warming ". I bought a new 14 nytro xtx last year, love it but am stressed sled seasons will be shorter and shorter each year. Should I get out asap and buy a SxS? Or should I hang in there and...

I'm from Quebec and generally enjoy the trails and sled culture. The way I was spoken to and fined was BS. I will never ride/spend money in that area again. It is cheaper to run through a red light with your car, than to not have a "permanent" rear view mirror on a sled. Still love my Nytro!

Hi, Yeah I'm pissed, I was riding in Saint-Donat, Qc. I had attached my mirror to my hand guard with heavy duty velcro and then siliconed it into place. Worked great and provided good rear visibility. The cop said it had to be "bolted" to the sled. I have a perfect record, was driving the speed...

Hi Everyone, Had a fun/short season on my Nytro. Drove all season with a fuctional but homemade rear view mirror on left side (Quebec law). On last ride of the season, 4km from the truck, trail cops pulled me over and issued a 261$ fine for mirror not being permanently fixed to sled. Just...

2014 Nytro XTX 1.75 first ride!

Yeah Man, pretty good accumulation but not as much as you guys out East. I bought my sled in May so I was dying to try it out. I'm hoping it corners better on well set up trails. p.s I'm not a fan of this El Niño weather, has me worried about future winter.....

2014 Nytro XTX 1.75 first ride!

Hey Thanks Man, I was thinking that as well. I put the carbide bars on the inside and wear bars outside of Tuner Skis. Trails should start to establish a base soon.......ill give it another test ride. Thanks for the advice.

2014 Nytro XTX 1.75 first ride!

Hey Guys, just took my new 14 xtx out for the first time. Torque on the thing is sweet but was surprised at the bad under steer. Turns out runners were installed 2" carbide on the outside keel and solid weld wear bar on the inside. Should be the opposite no? My question is, will 6" square bar...
