The 89-95 Sho's were Yamaha made engines. The 97's got the joint v8.I was a service manager for a Ford dealer that specialized in SHO'S.We modified a Sho with a stroker motor and clutch kit and a nice NOS bottle. We got 450hp out of that car.The owner used to race mUSCLE CARS and Porsches and win.

I first saw a Polaris with that conversion at a waterx race in the mid 90's.Since i have seeen a few other times.Even saw one on e-bay for say a few months back.
Sas,you most likey feeling it lessening and also getting used to it.
I feel it is a total advantage for a sled to have engine braking.Even makes loading up the susspension before jumping easier. You can get some good air out of a fourstroke if you know what your doing.

Since i am buying a Attack one of my friends decided to photoshop me.

Turk im sure you have plenty of valid input.I new there would be someone here who might give me schit.Glad it was you!Skunk and johnny miss you at the Trasher board. ;)!
Turk funny that you think you know me well enough to make that comment.Anyone who has spent any time over at Snowgoer or Amsnow knows that anything i said was in jest. They also would know that besides Ski-doo Yamaha was always my second choice and have owned them before.
If you are so insecure...
Thanks for the info, the deal is done i will be getting a 06 Attack.
For the first time ever all the mfg's had a sled i liked and with no real real reason to switch from Doo to Yamaha im doing it because i wanted to see what all the four stroke fuss was.My past 3 ski-doos had a total of 23,000...
