master of faster,
Yes, that is correct! The ridges running along the underside of the hood hits the plenum/ box area of the intercooler. You can remove some of the material on the undrside of the hood.......but that usually won't make any difference, except weaken your hood. You can live with...
with 10-13#'s boost mix your fuel 50/50 with a good grade 110....your choice! It seems like a couple gents are having issues pushing out anti-freeze when you start running over 12lbs. I don't know if this is a filing headgasket or that is jut what happens at those boost numbers.
Why are you guys pushing all the ant-freeze out of your holding tank? Are the head gaskets really failing? Or just when too much boost for too long of period? It seems to be symptimatic with only high, high boost & too long period?
If anyone is in need of or looking for a MCXpress front mount turbo..........let me know. This is just the turbo! We are looking to put a bigger turbo in this & do a few other things! :) Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or is in need of this turbo. Please email or post if interested...
Freak,
Are you pre-oiling the filter? I am running it both ways......with & with out a snow sock(skin). I just want to make sure that as the snow melts alittle from the under hood temps, that the moisture doesn't get "sucked" through the filter. I think a sock would be the best!? Simply wipe it...

skydog,
I am running a double gasket, 50/50 mix with sunoco 110 (purple) & only up to 10lbs boost right now. I will slowly go up 1lb at a time & check things out closely. It's looking right now I will probably be able to go up to 13-14lbs of boost on this set up without any problems. As long as...
skydog,
I know.so far i am loving it! I only have very little "test & tune" time in right now. getting clutching etc. etc. Even so..........it's looking sweet ! :) I am trying to gain as much info as I can right now. So I can have a good datum lne on all the "vitals"!
Thanks man,
Dave
What kind of coolant temps should a turbo warrior & a turbo vector be running? Both front mount turbos. Also what is the so called "dangerous" temp # to watch out for?
Thanks guys!
Dave
Ps. By the way I am (or should I say was) a die hard cat triple man. I am jumping into these yamaha turbo 4...
