My 06 Attak has been sitting for 5 years due to me being to busy to ride. Finally got it in the garage yesterday to start going over things. First thing I noticed is that the coolant tank is empty. Seems odd that it all would have evaporated but maybe? Also pulled the dipstick on the oil tank...

If I were to just weld it for now, can I just MIG weld it? trying to get out of tearing it down mid season.

Was doing an inspection of my Attak today and found a hairline crack in my W Arm. What are these made of? Can this just be welded to finish the season?

I cracked both sides of my bulkhead and cracked my oil cooler. $1.750 repair estimate. Filed a claim and the called me today thinking they are going to total it! Hopefully not but we will see.

I sent you an email because I cannot seem to get through on the phone. I will continue trying but want to be sure I am in line for an Apex kit.

Just curious if there is an updated ETA on the bushings. Or does anyone know where the original thread is?

I did my 97 Vmax SX. I used TalStrip II aricraft coating remover. Came out sweet...plan on a full day to take the sled apart, strip, clean, polish and reassemble.

I was riding yesterday with our trailmaster who has an 07 Vector. We were sitting waiting for the rest of the group to catch up and I noticed oil dripping from his sled. We took the side panel off to find the oil tank had a hairline crack in it about 3/4 of an inch long and the oil was seeping...

With the slides hanging out of the track windows, when you put the sled in reverse, the track essentially peels the slides off the rails. Works slick!

Come on guys you are making this way to hard. Tip sled on it's side, take the screw out, pound them about 2" out of the track window, flip sled back upright, jack up so track isnt touching the ground, start sled, put in revesere, gas it ans slides are off in about 2 seconds, now tip back on...

I rode over to the border crossing by Bosebuck on the Maine side today. There was all kinds of snow but no grooming on the Maine side. NH side looked to be pretty flat. Still best place to ride is on the untouched logging roads.

Took my Rage out twice so far this year after adding the rear mountain cooler and water wetter. Runs about 155-160. Before the cooler about 175 most of the time. Not quite the same motor but I was impressed how good the rear cooler worked.

Never had that problem with mine....just stay hard on the gas....

There should be some battery cables sticking out on the reverse lever side of your air box. They will have rubber covers over the ends. Clip your jumpers on to them and crank away.

I had one installed this year while my sled was in for a preseason. Went to pick it up, yes the exchanger was there, but no it was not on the slip. Moral of the story, I got the exchanger for free!

I usually ride with them only a quarter of the way on. Crank em all the way, and you'll burn your hands.

Did my conversion today. Snipped out the red domes inside the lens, installed the 1157 LED's with some silicone around the rim where they seal, reinstalled and was very happy with the result. They look perfectly clear when they are off but blast you with red when they are on. Total shop...

Where did you unload? And where did you ride?
