I have no mods. Only thing I've done is I run the track very loose. Doesn't rachet but close. I was seeing that when I went full tilt out of the hole would sort of down shift launch and stay at the high revs low speed. I picked it when I got it home and tried it again and the rev limiter came on...
I so was riding in great conditions to slush. But as I was flying through open fields I looked down and saw 14000 rpm. I also saw 13500 allot thoughout the day. It was a nice 186 mile ride. My question is this, should I have hit the rev limiter? When does that come on? Because I wasn't near top...
Put fox floats in the rear so that we can have better adjustability.
Make is easier to pull the rear shocks.
Add foam to the seat. Or take the present seat hinge the front and install a small air bag suspension to it.
Has anyone played with the idea of putting more foam in the seat and have it custom upolstered? I have the ride good for deep bumps but the little stutters keep me from sitting the seat is just too hard. Thought's? and if I do it I may be in the market for a new "used" seat won't care the...
Had pioneer do them once, that time they appeared to fail on the trailer which was wierd. Came out one day and everything was soaked in shock oil now I have monster performance do them.
I have my own none yamaha fan and have tried it both ways if it blows forwards you will just ice the opening in front of the radiator should always be sucking.
Only mod to this statement is hold the brake even as you get into the throttle. It reengages the clutch and launches you like a rocket ship. Then all you have to do is stand and pull back on it like a dirt bike and shift your weight. Fun fun
I presently have a phazer fx and can't keep shocks in it and was told I should be on the nytro. I weight 230lb and was wondering what the thoughts are of these sleds. On the phazer I find it hard to sit down. But I love that I can muscle it anywhere I need to go. I also like being able to go...
Has anyone tried a fox float in the rear? Is it possible to use and eliminate the coilover, for a little finer tuning? Any thoughts on the subjet would be helpful.
Can't say the spec off hand. But when I did mine I put them tight. Had a bunch come loose. Then I did the torque wrench and a bunch came loose. Finally I did what yamiee did originaly and loctited them with blue. I also found that when I did it, the weather was real cold outside and where they...
I have a Ski Doo Modular helmet and the shield is starting to "haze" over. I clean it with glass type cleaner and no lint wipes. But it's getting worse with time. Is there a good way to polish it or just go out and drop 100 + bucks on a new shield?
I thinkthe 08 are the good sled all the updates to the 07 just bring them up to the 08 spec. That is one of the reasons allot of people are pissed because they hated being the rd of the new sled's.
It took me two months to get mine but I think the time has droped considerably since then. The dealer got it through yamiee. They have a kit and a kit number as posted on here in other places. I think allot of dealers are holding out because they have to front the money for the kit then yamiee...
Funny that that is one of the parts I got to replace withe the suspension kit. I think we are starting to understand why it took them so long to redesign the whole front of the rear skid.
Was told they are waiting for them to break first. Maybe they are waiting to see if it is worth a general recall. 600 buck for the repair and many people never ride them hard enough to break them. So if you prove your rough enough you get it.
